It is a national-level intercollegiate sports competition that provides our
students with hands-on practical experience in planning, organizing and executing a sports event.
As the name suggests, JOSH, our intercollegiate youth festival is all about the energy, enthusiasm and excitement of the students. Started in the year 2006, this festival endorses a different theme every year, that puts to test students’ potential talent, skills and creativity.
Mr. and Ms. Academia is a pageant that embodies the spirit of today’s educated youth and their talent. This competition offers our students a platform to present their confident, intelligent and charming selves.
The purpose of this competition is to encourage students to showcase their singing, dancing and other unique skills. We recognize, appreciate and celebrate their special talent.
Future Varsity NASM’s Yuva Premier League (YPL) 2025 concluded as a monumental success on December 16th and 17th, 2025, at the prestigious SAI Ground. Uniquely conceptualized and managed entirely by students across the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Diploma programs in Sports Management, this intercollegiate fest brought together over 150 colleges and 2,500+ participants from across Mumbai.
The YPL 2025 showcased a sprawling range of 14 indoor and outdoor disciplines. The indoor events—including Chess, Carrom, Badminton, Table Tennis, and BGMI—were held at various venues across the city, while the outdoor events—Rink Football, Box Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Long Jump, and Athletics (100m, 200m, and 4x100m Relay)—transformed the SAI Ground, Kandivali (East) into a vibrant arena of competitive spirit.
The success of YPL was the result of months of meticulous planning by dedicated student committees. The Marketing, Sponsorship, PR, Creatives, and Finance departments visited over 400 colleges and 200 turfs/academies, leveraging high-energy promotional activities at Juhu Beach and Malad Masti.
In a heart-warming prelude to the event, students conducted a CSR activity at Sneh Sagar Orphanage, donating food and sports equipment. They organized a dedicated sports day for 40 children, sharing the joy of sports and community. This spirit of engagement translated online as well, with YPL’s Instagram content garnering an impressive 100,000 views, supported by celebrity endorsements and interactive giveaways.
The event was further elevated by the support of esteemed partners. Cloud 9 served as the Beverage Partner, while Accred Master joined as the Acreed Partner, with additional support provided by Pocari Sweat, ensuring the athletes were well-hydrated and professionally managed throughout the competition.
The festivities kicked off with a vibrant opening ceremony featuring traditional Mallakhamb performances, a disciplined NCC Cadet Parade, and the symbolic Torch Run. As the games unfolded, athletes displayed exceptional skill and respect for one another, creating an atmosphere of intense passion balanced by deep camaraderie.
The competition reached its pinnacle with Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College (RJ), Thakur College, and BK Birla College emerging as the Top Performing Colleges, recognized for their consistent excellence across categories.
The organizing team concluded the event with a celebratory reflection on the challenges overcome and the invaluable industry lessons learned. YPL 2025 has set a new benchmark for sports festivals in Mumbai, leaving participants and spectators alike eagerly anticipating the 2026 edition.
